What's News at Our Savior

LITTLE ONES OF OUR SAVIOR is looking for Assistant teachers and Substitute teachers. If interested in either of these positions, please stop by the church office to pick up an application or email oslc.preschool@sbcglobal.net.

Our Savior Lutheran Youth Group is having a photo scavenger hunt on Wednesday, Aug 13. Meet in the Youth Room at 6:45 PM. This is open for 7th - 12th grade youth. It promises to be a fun evening -- come see how many of the scavenger items you can find and photograph!

Thrivent Builds/Habitat for Humanity Workday: Our Savior Lutheran's second workday of 2008 is Saturday, August 16 at the Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County house in Wentzville. If you're interested in volunteering to work, or provide lunches, sign the volunteer sign-up sheet in the church lobby, or send an email to the webmaster, webmaster@oursaviorlutheranchurch.org. Sunday Worship
8:15 a.m. - Traditional Service
9:30 a.m. - Coffee, Donuts, Fellowship
11:00 a.m. - Thematic/Contemporary Service

Saturday Worship
6:00 p.m. - Saturday Night Lounge (SNL) - 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month.

Holy Communion
Holy Communion is offered the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month at the 8:15 AM Worship Service and the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month at the 11:00 AM Worship Service.

Bible Study and Sunday School
Adult Bible Classes
Various adult Bible Classes are offered each Sunday. Classes start at 9:45 a.m. for one hour.

Youth Bible Classes - JAM (Jesus And Me)
At 9:45 a.m., the J.A.M. session begins. Traditionally this is called Sunday School and is offered to Preschool aged children thru 7th grade youth.

Confirmation Classes
At 9:45 a.m., Confirmation class is offered in the youth room. This is a 2 year program beginning in 7th grade.

God's Challenge to Share! Our Savior Lutheran is in the midst of a celebration campaign to commemorate the church's 50th anniversary in 2009. The funds will go to update our facilities, expand our preschool ministry and help a new Lutheran church and school in the area get started. Watch for opportunities to help us meet our goals.
