DAILY AFTERNOON SCHEDULE

	Lunch Time (30 minutes) Nutritious meals will be provided and served by the school. Children will be encouraged to learn self-help skills such as pouring, passing and cleaning up their own places. Social skills, including manners will be encouraged during this time.
	Nap/Rest Time (45 minutes) Children are required to rest for a period of 30 minutes each day. They will be in a relaxed atmosphere with cots provided by the school. Parents may discuss individual sleep needs of their child.
	Activity Centers (30-45 minutes) As children finish resting, they will choose from classroom centers and small group activities.
	Afternoon Snack (15-20 minutes) Health, nutrition and social skills.
	Outdoor/Large Motor (30-45 minutes) Time and space for large motor activities, sand and water, dramatic play, etc.
	Table Toys/Small Group Activities/Departure (30-45 minutes) As the day draws to a close, children may choose from centers or participate in small group activities directed by the teacher. Classes may be combined during the final hours of the day.
	After Care (3:30-6:00pm) activities include learning centers, small group games, reading books, watching videos and playing computer games.
