LOVING HEARTS-HELPING HANDS
Join The LOVING HEARTS-HELPING HANDS Ladies of Our Savior
Friday, June 14, in the Parsonage for our monthly meeting and
workshop. We begin at 9:30 AM. Check your calendar – we have a lot
of fun, fellowship
and of course good food!
Celebration of Men Family Picnic
at Our Savior Saturday, June 15,
Potluck Lunch at 11:30 am. Each family is asked to bring a
side dish to share. Main dish, drinks, and dessert will be
provided.
Horsehoe Tournament begins at 10:00 am-register with Vicar Ross in
the church office.
Bouncy House, Family style games,
BINGO and Kid’s Horseshoes!!!
HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT
As part of the “Celebration of Men” on Saturday, June 15th,
we will be holding a Horseshoe Tournament! This double (or triple)
elimination tournament is free to enter, and will be two-person
teams: men or women,
ages twelve and up, and will begin at 10:00 that morning. Look for
Vicar Ross in the gym during Fellowship Hour to sign up! A sign up
table will also be available in the Lobby after the 11:00 service,
and you can email Vicar
at vicarross@yahoo.com as well.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 15 -19.
The program this year is titled "Kingdom Rock". Registration
is going on NOW!! To volunteer contact Elisha Nemens or
Cari Hannon.
LCMS RESPONDS TO OKLAHOMA TORNADO
In the wake of the monstrous tornado that struck Moore, Okla.,
and severe storms that affected other areas of the Midwest recently,
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) asks for prayers and
financial gifts to help those affected by the disaster. Those
who wish to volunteer with response efforts in Oklahoma are asked to
wait for the assessment of the damages and the needs. In the
meantime, the best way to support our Synod’s relief effort is by
contributing to the LCMS’ general disaster fund.” To
financially support the LCMS relief effort, give a donation online
at https://www.lcms.org/givenow/disaster

HELP WANTED We are in need of projection operators for the
third and fourth Sundays of the month at the 8:15 service. We also
need ushers for the third and fourth
Sundays of the month at the 11:00 service. These are both very
important for our worship service. Contact the church office if you
are able to fill either of these positions. Thank you.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD HAS BEGUN! We will collect
specific items each month beginning with April. We are currently
collecting HYGEINE ITEMS-toothbrushes, mild bars of soap,
washcloths, combs, brushes, toothpaste. Please make sure all items
are new and unused. You can place donations in the blue tub by the
Children’s Ministry booth in the lobby. You can also find an updated
list of instructions and items at the booth. Thank you so much for
your support!
Oasis Food Pantry Our Savior is
responsible for providing the following items: pancake mix, syrup,
instant mashed potatoes, and pasta sauce. We serve at Oasis
the first Tuesday each month.
LANDS AND GROUNDS NEEDS YOUR HELP!! The Lands and
Grounds ministry is looking for men and women to cut our grass each
week. Lawnmowers are furnished. Please call Dan Dennigmann at
947-4255 if you can help.

Holy Communion is offered the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the
month at the 8:15 AM Worship Service and the 2nd, 4th, and 5th
Sundays of the month at the 11:00 AM Worship Service.
Bible Study and Sunday School
Adult Bible
Classes
Various adult Bible Classes are offered each Sunday.
Classes start at
9:45 a.m. for one hour.
Youth Bible Classes - JAM (Jesus And Me)
At
9:45 a.m., the J.A.M. session begins. Traditionally this
is called Sunday School and is offered to Preschool aged
children thru 7th grade youth.
Confirmation Classes
At
9:45 a.m., Confirmation class is offered in the youth
room. This is a 2 year program beginning in 7th grade.
